Zona Nova de Aterros do Porto Exterior, a.k.a. NAPE or New Reclamation Area, is located in the Outer Harbour District between the main ferry terminal and the historic center. It is commonly known as the Dynasty Zone for the fact that Dynasty Plaza within is the very first complex being built. It is an area from Avenida da Amizade on the north to the bund on the south and Avenida 24 de Junho on the west to Avenida Xian Xing Hai on the east, with Alameda Dr. Carlos d'Assumpocao right in the middle. Another way to picturize is to think of a rectangular area with four corners being Wynn Macau, MGM Macau, Centro Cultural de Macau and Hotel Grand Lapa.
 
新口岸新填海區是澳門新口岸新填海的，坊間通稱為「皇朝區」(因為皇朝廣場是該區域第一座新建成的建築物)。這個區域泛指友誼大馬路以南的地區並以宋玉生廣場為中心，分別向東、西延伸至冼星海大馬路及城市日大馬路兩條縱向的大馬路之間的區域。另一個理解方式可以四點定位法，皇朝區呈矩形，四角點分別為永利澳門渡假村、澳門美高梅、澳門文化中心以及金麗華酒店。
